Functional Medicine
Whole-person care.
Root-cause answers.
At WholeLife Functional Medicine, we believe that caring for your body is a responsibility—one that reflects faithful stewardship of the life you’ve been given. Through a root-cause, whole-person approach, we partner with you to restore balance, promote healing, and support lasting wellness. By aligning evidence-based care with timeless principles of honoring God through how we live, eat, move, and rest, our mission is to help you thrive—physically, mentally, and spiritually—so you can truly live well.
Root-cause approach
We look for why symptoms are happening—not just how to manage them.
Lifestyle first
Many chronic concerns can often be improved through thoughtful lifestyle changes once a root cause is identified.
Personalized recommendations
Care may include advanced testing, nutrition guidance, and integrative therapies based on your needs.
Whole-person care
We care for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being as part of your health journey.
What Is Functional Medicine?
Looking beyond symptoms to understand the whole person.
Functional medicine is a root-cause–based approach that looks beyond symptoms to understand the whole person. We, at WholeLife Functional Medicine, create personalized plans that may include a combination of advanced testing, lifestyle changes, and integrative therapies.
The goal is simple: help you achieve optimal health and your highest quality of life.
What to Expect at WholeLife
A thoughtful approach to illness, healing, and long-term health.
A root-cause based approach to illness and dysfunction
No more simply treating symptoms. Let’s work together to figure out the causes of the issues you are suffering from.
Lifestyle before medication
The conventional health care model likes to start with medication. Let’s flip the script back to what it used to be and what it should be: lifestyle modifications first. Many chronic diseases and recurrent illnesses can be alleviated by changing a few simple things, especially once a root-cause has been discovered.
A Biblical-based approach to life, health, and well-being
At WholeLife, you will be getting a biblically-based approach. We believe spiritual health is foundational and central to our overall health and wellbeing. Things like forgiveness, serving, gratitude, faith, joy, prayer and even fasting all are important factors to our overall well-being and may often be recommended for you on your health journey.
Why WholeLife
Care centered on the whole person.
The name “Wholelife” was born out of Romans 12:1 - “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” The sad reality is that too often we don’t think of what we do with our bodies - the foods we eat, the frequency of exercise, or how we challenge our minds - as worship to God, but the Bible tells us that it is! So that’s what our goal is here at WholeLife.
We want to partner with what God is already doing in your life - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually - to help you live the life you were made to live in worship to Him.

FAQs
Quick answers to common questions about pricing, visits, and functional medicine care.
Functional medicine is ideal for 3 types of patients: patients with symptoms that no one else has been able to figure out, patients with chronic diseases looking for better support, or healthy patients looking to stay healthy and be proactive about their health.
At this time, WholeLife is only offering virtual assessments for those located in the state of Ohio, with the long term hope and goal of having a physical location in the future.
Yes, absolutely. WholeLife can order these types of testing and provide detailed information and planning.
Unfortunately, no. Since the tests that may be recommended vary from person to person, it would be impossible to include that in an initial cost. This helps keep pricing as fair and low as possible, and recommendations are always made collaboratively with your cost and circumstance in mind.
Although WholeLife does see children and adults, it is not primary care. Patients are still encouraged to have and routinely see a primary care doctor for ill visits and routine screenings.
Yes! This can be a great way to utilize those funds that you’ve been saving!
Unfortunately, no. Insurance tends to dictate ALOT, so removing that barrier from the equation allows us the freedom to order what may be most helpful for you at the lowest cost possible. In addition, it gives me the freedom to spend the amount of time I need with you to best understand your healthcare needs without the concern of seeing a certain number of patients.
